Community Updates:
As of January 20th, 2025: The Pool & Spa are OPEN. The Tot Lot, Clubhouse & Tennis Courts are OPEN.
The pool thermal heat is turned off mid-October and turned back on mid-April every year. The reason for this is that there is insignificant sun & too cold of nights to adequately heat the pool via the thermal heat. Consequently, unless there is a significant heat wave during the spring with warmer night temps, the pool typically takes several weeks for it to warm up once the thermal heat is turned back on in April.
BUDGET TOWN HALL MEETINGS Scheduled!!! The Board & Committee would like all owners to attend one of the three town hall meetings starting in January 2025. The information is very important to the financial state of the HOA. The Budget Committee will be presenting some very important data and would like to obtain owners feedback on the direction to go in the future. Please see the documents page for the Town hall notice or the calendar below for the future dates. All three meetings will be presenting the same information, so only one meeting is needed for your attendance.
Empire Works is starting a community wide deck reseal and/or repairs project on August 28th. The notice emailed to all owners/residents is posted on the bulletin board at the clubhouse for anyone who wants to review it. Notices will be placed 24-48 hrs in advance on the homes that will be worked on next. Please be sure everything is removed off of your decks once they arrive to start their work. - We continue to use the owner’s portal for community communication, logging work orders throughout the community and for all accounting purposes. - The next regular session Board meeting is scheduled for January 21st at 6pm. We will continue to keep the zoom meeting an option & available for those who would prefer to join remotely, however the Board will continue to meet in person. Feel free to join the zoom meeting link if you’d ever like to observe or need a couple of minutes to address the Board about any topic. Although the Board is limited on any decision making to only items listed on the Agenda, we can take note for future meetings if action cannot be taken right away.
